Ingredients:
Beef with bone 1/2 kg
Ginger garlic slices 2 tbsp
Chopped tomatoes 2
Potatoes 3-4
Chopped carrot 1
Onion slices 1
Tamarind pulp 2-3 tbsp
Malay powder 2 tbsp
Crushed nutmeg 1/3 tsp
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
Oil 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
All spice powder 1/2 tsp
For Malay Powder:
Coriander seeds 5 tbsp
Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds 2 tbsp
Whole red chilies 5-6
Black pepper 4 tbsp
Cinnamon 4-5
Cardamom 4-5
Cloves 4-5
Turmeric powder 2 tbsp
Method:
For malay powder: Foment all ingredients except turmeric on tawa, crush and make powder.
Then add turmeric and mix it.
For malay beef: Heat oil in pan, put ginger garlic and fry it.
Then add beef with bone and fry it.
Then put all spice powder, salt, nutmeg, fenugreek seeds and malay powder, mix it and roast it.
Then put onion, tomatoes, potatoes, carrot and water as required, mix it and cook until meat and vegetables tender.
Then put tamarind paste and mix it.
When gravy is thick, take out in dish, garnish with green chilies and serve.
