Baked Cigar Roll

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 250 gm (roughly chopped)
  • Fresh bread
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onion 1 medium (chopped)
  • Capsicum 1 (chopped)
  • Potato 1 (grated)
  • Carrot 1 (grated)
  • Tomato 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 2 (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry onion until transparent.
  2. Add capsicum; fry for a few minutes then sauté garlic.
  3. Stir in chicken until chicken change its color.
  4. Now add potato, carrot, tomato, green chilies; mix well then season with salt, red chili powder, chaat masala and cumin powder.
  5. Add a little water to cook everything properly.
  6. Cover and cook on slow heat until chicken soft and tender.
  7. Shift soya sauce and lemon juice; stir nicely and remove from heat and keep aside.
  8. Remove edges of bread and roll out bread pieces with rolling pin in a thin slice.
  9. Place filling in one side and roll it carefully from one end to other. Apply water and seal edges.
  10. Set all Cigar roll in a greased baking tray and bake in oven until crisp and golden.
  11. Serve with ketchup or chili garlic sauce.
  12. Note: If you don’t have an oven then heat tawa and toast from both sides on low heat.
