Instructions

Step 1: Sauté the Spices

In a large pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 2: Cook the Ground Meat

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Stir for a minute before adding the ground beef. Cook until the meat is browned and the moisture evaporates.

Step 3: Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. Then, add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well.

Step 4: Simmer with Yogurt

Mix in yogurt and cook for a few minutes. Add water to adjust the consistency as needed. Cover and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

Once the keema is cooked and the flavors have blended, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro. Serve hot with naan, paratha, or rice.
