San Matteo Pizzeria e Cucina in Manhattan’s Upper East Side added a giant burrata to its menu in early September. The giant burrata is known as figliata, which is mozzarella with smaller mozzarella in cream inside. San Matteo imports its giant burratas every week from Puglia, Italy. They’re made from buffalo milk and can be ordered alone or on top of pizza.
