Talbina :
Ingredients:
Boiled barley 1 cup
Milk 1 liter
Dates 8-10
Honey as required
Almonds, pistachios, walnuts ½ cup
Raisins 1 tbsp
Method:
In boiled barley add ½ liter milk and 2 cups of water and boil. when cook well and thick then add remaining ½ litter milk add and cook for 15 minutes. after this as required honey, chopped dates and almond, pistachios, walnuts with serve.
Hareesa:
Ingredients:
Chicken mince 300 grams
Wheat oatmeal 2 cups
Boiled yellow lentils ¾ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Chicken stock 1 cup
Yogurt 2 tbsp
White cumin powder 1 tsp
Milk ¾ cup
Butter or clarified butter ½ cup
Salt to taste
For tempering:
Clarified butter 2 tbsp
Onion as required
Method:
Butter or clarified butter heat and chicken mince ,salt turmeric ,black pepper powder and yogurt and mix and masala roast .now add some water and cook till than chicken tender .now in a pan add boil wheat oat ,boil yellow lentils and chicken stock add and mix .then in mince ,white cumin powder and milk mix and further cook for 30 minutes .when thick then dish out and remove .finally heat clarified butter and fry onion and mix .
