Special Kashmiri Daal
Ingredients:
Boiled green lentil 1cup
Onions (finely cut) 1
Tomatoes (boiled & finely cut) 3
Ginger paste 1tbsp
White cumin 1tsp
Red chili (crushed) 1/2tsp
Salt as required
Red chili powder 1-1/2tsp
Turmeric 1/2tsp
Clarified butter 3/4cup
Cream 2tbsp
Eggs (boiled) 3
All spices powder 1/2tsp
Method:
Soak the green lentils in water for 3-4hours. Then boil it with salt and drain the water. Now in a pan heat the ghee and fry onions chopped and white cumin. now add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric and crushed red chili and roast all the spices. Now add boil chopped tomatoes mix. thenadd boiled lentils and mix it thoroughly. Then add half cup of water, creamand all spices powder for simmer. Then boil the eggs and peel them and fry. Lastly serve the lentil in a dish and garnish it with eggs and serve.
Achaari Kofta Handi:
Ingredients:
Chicken Mince 500grams
Onion (chopped) 1
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Salt 1tsp
Red chili powder 1tsp
Ground almonds 2tbsp
All spice powder ¾ tbsp
Green chili 2
Gravy’s Ingredients:
Onion paste 1
Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
Yogurt ¾ cup
Salt 1tsp
Oil ¾ cup
For Green chili stuffing:
Large green chili 8-10
fresh coriander(chopped) 1tbsp
white cumin(crushed) 1-1/2 tsp
Grinded fennel seeds 1tsp
Onion seeds 1tsp
Lemon juice 2tbsp
Fenugreek seeds 1tbsp
Method;
Firstly add the meatballs ingredients in a grinder and make meatballs. Then heat the oil in a pan and add grinded onions, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander and yogurt to roast. Then add ½ cup of water and cover the pan and cook it. Cut the green chili from the centre and add all the ingredients with lemon juice and stuff it in the green chilies. Lastly add the green chilies with the meatballs spices and simmer them for 5mins and serve them hot.
