INGREDIENTS:
- For Meatballs:
- Beef mince 1 kg
- Eggs 8
- Gram flour 1/2 cup
- Poppy seed 2 tbsp
- Onion 1
- Green chili 6
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Whole spice powder 1 tsp
- Crushed almonds 1/4 cup
- Oil as required
- For gravy:
- Ghee 1 cup
- Onion 1 (sliced)
- Whole spice powder 1 tsp
- Clove 6
- Black pepper 8
- Cinnamon 1
- Black cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Whole spice powder 1 tsp
- Curd 250 gm
- Green coriander as required
- Cinnamon, green cardamom, nutmeg and mace mix powder 1 tsp
METHOD:
Mix mince with gram flour, onion, poppy seed, green chili, red chili, whole spice powder and almonds. Now chop this mixture in a chopper. Boil eggs and de shell them. Deep fry the eggs and drain on paper towel. Now completely coat the fried eggs with mince mixture. (You can half the eggs if you like)Lightly fry the covered eggs. For Gravy: Heat oil in a pan and fry onion, whole spice powder, black pepper, cinnamon, black cumin seeds and brown (roast) them. Then add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chili, turmeric, whole spice powder, curd and simmer for a while. Now put meatballs in the gravy and mix them by moving the pan. (Do not use spoon)When meatballs are cooked in the gravy add 2 cups of water and boil. When it comes to boil, lower the flame Now add in cinnamon, green cardamom, nutmeg and mace mix powder, simmer gently. When gravy thickens, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
