Ingredients
- 3ripe medium pears,* peeled, halved, and cored
- 1/4cup pear nectar
- 3tablespoons honey
- 2tablespoons butter
- 1teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2cup mascarpone cheese
- 2tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/3cup chopped roasted, salted pistachios
Method:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Arrange pears, cut sides down, in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish. Add the next four ingredients (through orange zest). Roast, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, spooning liquid over pears occasionally. Transfer pears to serving dishes with some of the liquid. Stir together mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Spoon over pears; sprinkle with pistachios. If desired, drizzle with additional honey.
