Kung Pao Potato:
Ingredients:
Potato (cut in wedges) 1 kg
Capsicum (cubed) 2
Onion (cubed) 2
Spring onion as required
Oil for frying
Flour 2-3 tbsp
Ingredients for sauce:
Green chilies (finely cut) 3-4
Red chilies (cut lengthwise) 3-4
Crushed ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Chili paste 2 tbsp
Hot sauce 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Chicken stock 1 cup
Corn flour 1 tsp
Fry peanuts 2 tbsp
Method
Cut thick fries of potato and put in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then strain out and sprinkle flour and fry until it gets golden. Heat oil in a pan and fry crushed garlic, green chili and red chili. Now add capsicum and onion and fry them as well. Then add chili paste, hot sauce, soy sauce and chicken stock and let them boil. Now add corn flour and let it thick. Add fry potato and mix. Take out in dish and garnish with peanuts and spring onion.
Dry Beef With Onion:
Ingredients:
Undercut beef 400 gm
Oil 2 ½ tbsp
Green onion 3-4
Onion (slice) 1
For Marination:
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Corn flour 1 tbsp
For Sauce:
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
White pepper ¾ tsp
Corn flour 1 tsp
Sesame oil ½ cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt as required
Method:
First cut the beef in slices. Mix all the marination ingredients and marinate the beef for about ½ an hour. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients. Then in pan heat oil, fry garlic. Also fry undercut and cook until tender. Now add sliced onions and sauce ingredients. Cook well. Then add green onions and mix well. In the end place in a dish and serve hot.
Cilantro and Lime Rice:
Ingredients:
Boiled rice 2 cups
Chicken stock 1 cup
Butter 4 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Lemon zest 1 tbsp
Chopped coriander ½ cup
Sliced lemon as required
Chopped green onion 2
