Career

Chef Ali began his career working as a chef at the InterContinental Muscat, one of the most luxurious hotels in Oman. He worked there for several years, gaining valuable experience and refining his culinary skills. He then moved on to work at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, where he served as the executive chef. During his time at the resort, Chef Ali was responsible for managing several restaurants and catering to the needs of high-profile guests from around the world.

In 2009, Chef Ali decided to open his own restaurant, and he launched the first branch of his restaurant chain, Kargeen Caffe, in Muscat. Kargeen Caffe quickly became a popular destination for food lovers in Oman, thanks to its unique blend of traditional Omani cuisine and international flavors. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality added to its appeal, and it soon became a go-to destination for locals and tourists alike.

Buoyed by the success of his first restaurant, Chef Ali continued to expand his business, opening several new branches of Kargeen Caffe in different parts of Oman. He also launched several new restaurant concepts, including The Steak Company, which specializes in grilled meat dishes, and The Yellow Chilli, which offers a fusion of Indian and international cuisine. Chef Ali’s restaurants are known for their high-quality ingredients, fresh flavors, and impeccable presentation.
