Instructions

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and saffron milk.
  • Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for better flavor.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  • Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes until it is partially cooked.

Step 3: Prepare the Gravy

  • Add the pureed tomatoes, green chilies, garam masala, coriander powder, and cardamom powder to the pan.
  • Mix well and cook for 10 minutes until the oil separates from the masala.

Step 4: Add Cream and Finish

  • Add fresh cream to the gravy and stir to combine.
  • Simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
