No Fry Dahi Baray:
Ingredients:
Yellow lentils ¾ cup
White lentils ¾ cup
Dry mint 1 tsp
Crushed black pepper ¾ tsp
Salt as required
Oil 2 tbsp
Fruit salt ½ tsp
Ingredients for dahi :
Yogurt ½ kg
Salt as required
Chaat masala as required
Green chutney as required
Roasted cumin as required
Green coriander as required
Method:
Yellow lentils and white lentils soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours and grind it fine .now dried mint ,salt ,oil ,crushed black pepper and fruit salt mix and blend .then in muffin try grace and pour the mixture and covered with the foil .now steam it and remove then dip in water .and remove for few minutes. And press with the hand after this add yogurt, salt and blend well and pour on baray .finally add green chutney ,roasted cumin ,chaat masala and green coriander and serve .
Daal Moong Pakoray:
Ingredients:
Yellow lentils (soaked) 1 cup
Rice flour 1 tbsp
Chopped onion 1 large
Chopped green coriander, green chili ½ cup
Crushed coriander, cumin 1 tbsp
Curry leaves 8-10
Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Soda 2 pinch
Method:
Soaked yellow lentils grind. now all remaining all ingredients mix then after 10 minutes heat oil and make pakoray and fry .when golden brown then remove it and serve with chutney.
