Ingredients

Liver 1/2 kg

Large onion 1

Ginger 1″ piece

Cloves of garlic 5

Dry red chillies 4-5

Curry leaves 6-8

Vinegar 3 tsp

Mustard powder 1/2 tsp

Medium sized potatoes 2 (optional)

National Salt to taste

Oil as needed

Roast and Grind:

Coconut scrapings 2 tbsp

Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

Coriander seeds 1 tsp

Peppercorns 6

Cloves 5

Cooking Directions

Wash and cut the liver into small pieces.

 

Heat oil and lightly fry the chopped onions, fry till golden brown.

 

Add the National ginger garlic paste and cubed potatoes.

 

Fry for one minute.

 

Add curry leaves, powdered spice and liver.

 

Add the mustard powder and the vinegar to the cook on low flame till liver is well done.

 

The mixture should be dry.
