1 kg – Meat (beef, Mutton or veal), cut into cubes
3 large onions, sliced
3 green chillies, chopped
1 tsp – National chilli powder
1 tsp – National pepper powder
1 tsp – National Garlic paste
1/2 tsp – National Turmeric powder
National Salt to taste
3 tbsp – oil
How to Make Meat Jalfrezie
Boil the meat with National turmeric powder and a little National salt in sufficient water till tender.
Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, then add the cooked meat, onions, National garlic paste, salt, National chilli powder, National pepper powder and green chillies and mix well.
Simmer till the onions are tender and take on the colour of the meat.
Stir fry till the oil leaves the sides of the pan.
