The classic Maggi, sandwiched to make a fun and filling snack!
MAGGI SANDWICH
8 bread slices
140 grams instant noodles
2 tbsps oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large tomato, finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli flakes + sprinkling
1 tsp dried oregano + sprinkling
1 tsp fried garlic
4 sausages, sliced
1½ tsps paprika powder + sprinkling
4 tbsps grated processed cheese + garnish
1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
Butter as required
Green chutney as required
Shredded cabbage for garnish
Wafers to serve
Method
1. Heat ½ cup water in a non-stick pan, add instant noodles taste maker, and mix well. Add the noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes. Take off the heat and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion, tomatoes, salt, red chilli flakes and mix well. Add dried oregano and fried garlic, sausages and mix well.
3. Add paprika powder and mix well. Add cheese, chopped coriander and mix well. Cook for 1 minute.
4. For one portion, apply butter on a slice of bread and apply green chutney, place a portion of the prepared sausage stuffing.
5. Apply butter on another slice of bread and apply green chutney, place this on top of the prepared bread.
6. Apply a little butter on top and place a portion of the prepared noodles and sprinkle a little grated cheese, red chilli flakes, and dried oregano.
7. Garnish with shredded cabbage and serve along with green chutney and chips.
