SUJI HALWA”
Recipe
Sooji(samolina). 1cup
Sugar. 2cups
Ghee. 1cup
Elaichi(cardamon). 2
Water. 4cups
Gram flour(besan). 1/2tsp
Baking soda. A pinch
Dessicated coconut. 1tbsp
Almond. 10(chopped)
Pistachio. 10(chopped)
Food colour. A pinch
Italia fruit cocktail 2tbp
Method:
In a pot,add water,sugar and baking soda,bring to boil then add food colour(zarde ka rang)stirr for about 5min,until sugar dissolved,your sheera is ready,turn off flame.
In a separate pot,heat ghee add elaichi then add sooji,keep on stirring on low flame until sooji turns light in colour then remove from flame,add now gram flour(besan),coconut keep on stirring well then turn on flame cook sooji,besan on low flame until it’s becomes light golden,then add slowly your sheera,keep on stirring,be careful it’s very hot,then cook for about 5min then cover the lid on very low flame leave it for about 15 min until oil separated and sooji cooked well,your halwa is ready,add almond,pistachio according to your taste, Ganesh with Italia fruit cocktail…
