Ingerdients:
chicken breast 1kg(cut in 2 inch pieces)
yogurt 1 1/2 cup
onions 1 large (finely chopped)
National coriander powder 1tbs
National salt 1 tsp
National turmeric 1/2 tsp
National red chilli powder 1 tsp
National cumin seeds 1 tsp
National ginger and garlic paste1tbs(heaped)
onions 2 large(cut in thick rings)
mint 1/2 cup
National garam masala 1 tsp
green chilli 2 to 3
coal
oil 1/2 cup
Recipe:
marinate the chicken with 2 tbs of yogurt and keep aside covered for 10 to 15 minutes.
heat the oil add onions, ginger & garlic paste fry on high flame till light golden.
then add the cumin seeds, chicken and cook on high flame till the chicken changes colour.
add the salt, red chilli, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, 1 cup yogurt mix well cover and cook till the oil comes on the surface on medium flame, then add 1tbs mint mix well.
preheat the oven 180c, 350f, gas mark 4.
make the coal red hot.
place the cooked chicken in a oven proof dish top it with the remaining yogurt, onion rings, mint, green chilli, then place a piece of foil in the middle add the hot coal spoon 1 tsp of oil cover and wait till the smoke settles.
then place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes and serve hot with naan.
