CORN CHIVDA
Ingredients
2 cups raw corn flakes
Oil for deep frying
¼ cup raw peanuts
10-15 dry coconut slices
2 tbsps black raisins
10-15 curry leaves
Salt to taste
½ tsp powdered sugar
Method
1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the raw corn flakes till they expand, become golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
2. In the same hot oil, deep fry peanuts till crisp and crunchy. Drain on an absorbent paper.
3. Deep fry coconut slices till crisp and crunchy. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Deep fry raisins till they puff up, drain on an absorbent paper. Add curry leaves and deep fry till crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
5. In a large bowl, add fried corn flakes, peanuts, curry leaves, dried coconut, and raisins. Sprinkle salt, sugar, and mix well.
6. Serve.
