Shannon Bennett is a renowned Australian chef and restaurateur. He was born on January 23, 1975, in Melbourne, Australia. He is best known for his contemporary cuisine and for being the owner of Vue de Monde, one of Australia’s most famous restaurants.
Bennett began his culinary career at the age of 15, working as an apprentice at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked in several kitchens around the world, including London, Hong Kong, and France. He returned to Melbourne in the late 1990s and worked at a number of top restaurants before opening his own, Vue de Monde, in 2001.
