Bel Coelho is a renowned Brazilian chef who has made a name for herself through her innovative and creative approach to Brazilian cuisine. She was born in São Paulo in 1976 and grew up in a family of food lovers. Her father, Luiz Coelho, was a journalist who wrote about food and wine, and her mother, Regina, was an excellent cook.
Bel Coelho studied culinary arts in Brazil and then went on to hone her skills in some of the best kitchens in Europe, including El Celler de Can Roca in Spain and Noma in Denmark. She returned to Brazil in 2009 to open her own restaurant, Dui, which quickly became a sensation in São Paulo’s dining scene.
