Balochi Chicken Sajji:
Ingredients:
Chicken (whole) 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
White vinegar 4-5
Salt as required
Clarified butter ½ cup
Black pepper powder 1 ½ tsp
Dry pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Fennel powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Method:
Marinate chicken with all the spices for overnight. Then add in a pan, place aluminum foil and bake in a pre heated oven for about 1 hour. In the end serve with rice.
Namkeen goasht :
Ingredients:
Mutton 750 grams
Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
Salt as required
Clarified butter ½ cup
Method:
In clay pot add mutton, salt and water pour and leave for 3 to 4 hours .when meat tender then add clarified butter and roast well .then add crushed crushed black pepper mix and leave on dum .finally remove and serve with nan .
Balochi Rice:
Ingredients:
Rice (boiled) ½ kg
Butter ½ cup
Black pepper powder 1 ½ tsp
Saffron ½ tsp
Raisin 4 tbsp
Cashew nuts 8-10
Dates 10-12
Chaat masala 1 tbsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Method:
Heat butter add chaat masala, turmeric, saffron and one cup water. Then add rice, raisin, cashew nuts and dates. Mix well and cover. Serve with chicken sajji.
