Apple Halwa:
Ingredients:
Apple 4-5
Green Cardamom 4
Sugar ¾ cup
Ghee or Butter ½ cup
Khoya 1 cup
Almonds 2 tbsp
Pistachio 2 tbsp
Raisins 2 tbsp
Arabic Sheesh Kabab
Ingredients:
Mutton 400 gm
Tomato 2
Green Chili 4
Butter or Oil 1-2 tbsp
For Marinating:
Yogurt ¼ cup
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Tara Garam Masala ½ tsp
Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
Garlic 1 clove
Oregano 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Red chili powder ¼ tsp
Papaya paste 2 tbsp
Honey chili potatoes:
Ingredients:
Potatoes (boiled & cut) 3 cups
Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
Sriracha sauce 2 tbsp
Crushed red chili 1 tsp
Ketchup 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cayenne pepper paste 1 tbsp
Oil 4 tbsp
Crushed ginger 1 tsp
Honey 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Spring onion for garnish
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Method
Heat oil and slightly fry crushed garlic and ginger in it. Then add sriracha sauce, crushed red chili, ketchup, soy sauce, salt and cayenne pepper paste and mix well. Now add potatoes and mix them. Add honey and spring onion, mix well and take out in dish. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve.
Sindhi biryani:
Ingredients:
Chicken 750 grams
Sela rice boiled 750 grams
Yogurt 250 grams
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1-1/2 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Green chilli 20-25
Green coriander 1 bunch
Mint ½ bunches
Oil 1 cup
All spices mix 2 tbsp
Bay leaves 2-3
Dry plumps 8-10
Yellow food colour as required
Nutmeg, Mace (ground) 1 tbsp
Khewra 1 tbsp
Onion ¾ cup
Peas as required
Lemon slices 8-10
Potatoes 5-6
Tomatoes chopped few
Method:
• Firstly wash the chicken now add water, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, all spices mix & ginger garlic paste to cook until chicken tenders.
• Now add Peas and potatoes to cook till stock remains to 2 to 3 cups.
• Now boil sela rice in a water of salt,bay leaves & all spice mix ,drain water of rice when it gets boiled.
• Then in a woke chicken keep aside then add green coriander ,mint ,green chilli ,dry plumps ,all spices nutmeg powder ,mace powder ,thickly sliced tomatoes ,lemon slices and fried onions mix .
• After this yellow food colour mix in yogurt. Then rice and a cup of stock mix add hot oil, yellow colour and leave on dum .when ready then serve with raita.
