Jock Zonfrillo is an Australian celebrity chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He was born on November 18, 1976, in Glasgow, Scotland, but later moved to Australia where he made a name for himself in the culinary world.

Zonfrillo started his career as an apprentice chef at the Turnberry Hotel in Scotland before moving to London to work with renowned chefs such as Marco Pierre White and David Cavalier. He then moved to Australia in 2000 and worked at a number of prestigious restaurants, including Restaurant 41, Restaurant VII, and Restaurant est.

In 2011, Zonfrillo opened his own restaurant, Orana, in Adelaide, which has since become one of the most highly-regarded dining destinations in Australia. Orana focuses on using native Australian ingredients and techniques, and Zonfrillo has become a passionate advocate for indigenous food culture and sustainability.

Zonfrillo has won numerous awards for his culinary achievements, including the prestigious Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year in 2019. He has also appeared as a judge on several Australian cooking shows, including MasterChef Australia, and has presented his own television series, including Nomad Chef and Chef Exchange.

Outside of his restaurant and television work, Zonfrillo is involved in a number of charitable initiatives. He is the founder of The Orana Foundation, which aims to preserve and celebrate indigenous food culture in Australia, and he also works with the Adelaide Foodbank to help feed those in need.
