Bananas dipped in chocolate sauce, rolled in peanut-sesame seeds mixture and set in a refrigerator
CHOCOLATE NUTTY BANANA
Ingredients
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
½ cup roasted walnuts kernels (akhrot)
¼ cup roasted peanuts
8 small (elaichi) bananas
2 tbsps butter
2 tbsps toasted white sesame seeds (safed til)
Vanilla ice cream, as required
Method
1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add chocolate and stir till the chocolate melts. Switch off heat and transfer into a bowl.
2. Grind walnuts and peanuts finely and transfer into another bowl. Add sesame seeds and mix well.
3. Peel bananas.
4. Spread the crushed nut-sesame mixture on a plate. Place a silicon sheet on another plate.
5. Dip bananas in the butter-chocolate mixture, coat with crushed nut-sesame mixture and place on the silicon sheet. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or till set.
6. Serve chilled with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
