Delicious chocolate sticks with a hazelnut chocolate and rice crispy filling for a crunchy surprise.
CHOCOLATE CRACKERS
Ingredients
200 gms dark chocolate, cut into ½ inch cubes
½ cup rice crisps
¼ cup hazelnuts, chopped
¾ cup chocolate hazelnut spread
Edible gold colour to sprinkle
Edible red colour to sprinkle
Method
1. Take chopped chocolate in a bowl. Melt in microwave for a minute. Remove and temper the chocolate with a spatula.
2. Pour the melted chocolate in silicon mould, spread equally on all sides and slightly tap the mould to fill air gaps. Flip the mould and remove the chocolate in the bowl. Scrape the mould to remove excess chocolate. Refrigerate till set.
3. Take rice crisps, hazelnuts and chocolate hazelnut spread in a bowl. Mix well. Transfer the mixture in a piping bag.
4. Pipe out the mixture into the chocolate shells. Cover from top with the remaining melted dark chocolate. Tap the mould slightly to fill air gaps. Scrape to remove excess chocolate. Refrigerate till set.
5. Demould the chocolates on a serving platter. Sprinkle edible gold and red colours on top of chocolates.
6. Serve immediately.
