Here is the list of five foods that will keep your diet healthy even if you intake one of them daily.
1. Oats
I know a lot of you must not be very happy to eat oats daily, but it is a superfood. Compared to other whole grains, oats came out on top for lowering cholesterol. Oats keep your skin healthy as well.
2. Lentils (Daal)
Lentils are a delicious, healthy snack. Adding a container of sprouted lentils to a lunchbox or picnic basket, perhaps with some chili powder or pepper for flavoring, makes for a delicious snack.
3. Blueberries
Blueberries are easily available at big grocery stores in Pakistan, These tasty little gems are higher in antioxidants than nearly any other food, delivering powerful heart-healthy benefits.
4. Sweet potatoes
Sweet potatoes are rich in dietary fiber, vitamin A, B-6 and C, and potassium. You can just boil them and mash them put some salt, pepper and little bit of chilli powder and it is ready to eat.
5. Anything Green and Leafy
Except plants from your garden you can eat any green vegetable which is leafy. For example, Spinach, Kale, Brocolli etc. But don’t overcook them or add a lot of spices. Just a little bit of boiling and frying. Green vegetables are best uncooked.
