Middle Eastern cuisine has its own special taste that are to die for. Some of the middle eastern foods such as Hummus and Shawarma are frequently available in Pakistan but many are not. However all the 5 best arabic foods that I will mention in this blog can be made at home easily.
1. Hummus
In most simple words Hummus is a chickpea spread or dip. It can be paired with almost anything and will still taste amazing! If you haven’t dipped Nachos in hummus you are missing out!
2. Manakeesh
Manakeesh is often called the middle-eastern Pizza. It is a bread with cheese spread on top, ground meat and herbs. It can be eaten for lunch or breakfast.
3. Tabouleh
If you are a vegeterian this dish is ideal because it is the king of veggies. It is the beautiful combination of bulgur, parsley, mint, onion and tomatoes.
4. Moutabal/Baba Ganoush
Watch out before you declare hummus the best dip because this one has a lot more to offer. Same as baba ganoush this dip has similar consistency with an eggplant kick. Spiced up with chili, this is the best dip to have.
5. Shawarma
I reckon that most of you have already tried Shawarma before. If not try it now because they are easily available in Pakistan. Since Pakistanis have the utmost tendency to add spice in everything you may not have the actual taste in Pakistani shawarma. But they are good at least.
