Freshly made chocolate waffles topped with scoops of vanilla and mango icecream and lots of other toppings makes this dessert extra special.

WAFFLE SUNDAE

Ingredients

1 cup refined flour (maida)
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup powdered sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Milk as required
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons melted butter + for greasing
¼ cup chocolate chips + for topping
Vanilla ice cream scoops as required
Mango ice cream scoops as required
Fresh strawberries as required
Fresh blueberries as required
Chocolate cigars for garnishing
Strawberry syrup for drizzling
Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Method

1. Mix together flour, cocoa powder and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add eggs, vanilla ice cream and milk as required and whisk to a smooth batter.
2. Add baking powder and butter and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
3. Heat a waffle iron and grease with some butter. Pour batter, cover and cook till fully done.
4. Transfer a waffle on a serving plate. Top with 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, 1 scoop mango ice cream, 1 halved strawberry, 4-5 blueberries and some chocolate chips. Cover with another waffle and repeat the process.
5. Garnish with chocolate cigars, drizzle some strawberry syrup and chocolate syrup and serve immediately.
