Ingredients

Lamb(leg piece) 1 kg

Yoghurt 3/4 cup

Coriander Powder 2 tsp

National Turmeric Powder 2 tsp

NationalRed Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp

National Ginger Paste 5 tsp

National Garlic Paste 5 tsp

National Salt to taste

Oil for basting

Cooking Directions

Mix yoghurt, National coriander powder, National tumeric powder,National ginger and garlic paste and National salt.

 

Pour mixture over lamb and coat pieces evenly.

 

Baste marinated pieces with oil and cover the bowl.

 

Chill in refrigerator for 5-6 hours, basting occasionally.

 

Pre heat oven to 175C/350F.

 

Mix meat marinated well, then skewer the piece 2cm apart.

 

Roast in oven for 5-8 minutes on each side or untill cooked through, basting just once.

 

Serve hot, garnish with onion rings, chopped coriander and lemon juice wedges on warmed serving dish.

 

Accompnany with Angeer ki chutney.
