Mughlai Kebab Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Chicken mince
  • 125 gm gram lentils boiled
  • 50 gm almonds boiled
  • 50 gm pistachios boiled
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds crushed
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds crushed
  • 1 tbsp red pepper crushed
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves
  • 2 inch piece of Ginger
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and mace powder
  • National 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp all spice powder
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • Oil for frying
  • National Salt to taste

Cooking Method

  1. Place mince and boiled gram lentils in a chopper or food processor.
  2. Process until well combined.
  3. Then add ginger, garlic and chopped onion and process again till smooth mixture is formed.
  4. Now add boiled egg, crushed red pepper, crushed cumin seeds, turmeric, all spice powder, nutmeg mace powder, salt, boiled almonds and boiled pistachios.
  5. Process until well combined.
  6. Take it out the mixture in a mixing bowl and shape into medium sized kabab’s.
  7. Dip each kabab in beaten egg, coat with dry flour.
  8. Again dip in egg and coat with flour.
  9. Shallow fry for 4-5 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden brown.
  10. Take it out in a serving plate. and serve hot.
