A nutritious and delicious dosa recipe made using oats is the perfect start to a healthy day.
INSTANT OATS DOSA
Ingredients
½ cup oats powder
½ cup rice flour
¼ cup semolina
½ cup yogurt
1 small onion, chopped
Freshly chopped coriander as required
1 inch ginger,finely chopped
Crushed pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1 tsp green chillies, chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
7-8 curry leaves, chopped
2 tbsps scraped fresh coconut
Ghee to drizzle
Coconut chutney to serve
Gunpowder with ghee to serve
Method
1. Add oats powder, rice flour, semolina, yogurt, onion, coriander, ginger, crushed pepper, salt, green chillies, cumin seeds, curry leaves and scraped coconut in a bowl. Add sufficient water andmix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Heat ghee in a non-stick tawa, add spoons of mixtureand spread it.Drizzle ghee on sides. Turnover and cook on medium heat till golden brown
3. Serve hot with coconut chutney and gunpowder with ghee.
