Spring onions in season? Here’s the perfect recipe for your lunch/dinner!
HARE PYAAZ KI SABZI
Ingredients
4-6 spring onion greens
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 cup gram flour
Rotis to serve
Method
1. Chop spring onions and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida and the chopped spring onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
4. Add 1 cup water and mix and let the mixture come to a boil. Add gram flour and mix till well combined. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.
5. Serve hot with rotis.
