Fried Kala paplet (Pomfret)

 

Recipe!

Half kg fish.

2tsp Garlic paste 

2tb spoon cumin seed powder, 

2tb spoon red chilli flakes 

2tsp Black Pepper 

2tsp coriander powder 

salt to taste

Juice of two lemons ( tamarind water )

(Vineger)but I prefer lemon juice)  

Italia Olive oil/coconut oil for shallow fry.

Method.

Make a thick paste of all spices and lemon juice and apply on fish and marinate for an hour. Heat oil well in frying pan and shallow fry the fish at medium heat( or else it would only be cooked form the top). Fry till the color turns to a beautiful brown.  

Stir fry vegetables of your own choice i took tomatoes and Green chillies and made chutney with leftover masala by cooking in the same pan in leftover oil of fried fish.

Serve hot with boiled rice ,roti and enjoy.
