Boiled boneless fish mixed with potatoes and spices, shaped into patties and shallow fried.
FISH PATTIES – (Serves – 4)
Ingredients
250 grams boneless fish, cut into pieces and boiled
2-3 large potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow-frying
Method
1. Put fish pieces in a bowl. Add potatoes, ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chillies and salt and mash well.
2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties.
3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place the patties on it and shallow-fry till golden brown from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
