A scrumptious pakoda, perfect for a rainy day.
DAL NOODLE PAKODA
Ingredients
½ cup moong dal, soaked and drained
½ cup cooked noodles
1 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsps freshly chopped coriander leaves
1-2 fresh green garlic, chopped
1-2 green chillies, chopped
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1½ tbsps tandoori mayonnaise
Oil for deep frying
Green chutney to serve
Method
1. In a blender, add moong dal, blend to a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl and add cooked noodles.
2. Add rice flour, chopped coriander, garlic, green chillies, crushed black peppercorns, salt, tandoori mayo, mix well.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, drop in small balls of the prepared mixture in to the hot oil and deep fry till golden and crispy.
4. Serve hot along with green chutney.
