CHOCO NUT RINGS
Ingredients
200 grams ready-made puff pastry dough
Refined flour for dusting
4 tbsps chocolate-hazelnut spread
4 tbsps roasted chopped hazelnuts
1 egg
Brown sugar for sprinkling
Method
1. Preheat the oven at 180˚C.
2. Dust a little flour on a work top and place the dough on it and roll it into a thin sheet. Trim the edges of two sides and divide the sheet into 4 squares.
3. Make 4 cuts with ½ inch distance from each other starting from the bottom on each square leaving about 1 inch space uncut on the top.
4. Apply 1 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread on each uncut portion and spread it evenly. Sprinkle 1 tbsp chopped hazelnut on it.
5. Start rolling from the uncut portion of the square to form a log. Bring the two ends together to shape it like a ring.
6. Place them on a greased baking tray. Break in an egg in a small bowl and whisk it with a fork.
7. Brush the egg on to the rings and sprinkle brown sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Take it off the heat.
8. Serve warm.
