At the age of 15, Chef Gotti left school to work in his family’s restaurant full-time. He started out as a dishwasher and worked his way up to become a line cook. It was during this time that he discovered his love for cooking and decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

Chef Gotti’s parents encouraged him to attend culinary school, and he enrolled at the Culinary Institute of Naples when he was 18 years old. After graduation, Chef Gotti worked in several restaurants in Naples and gained valuable experience in the kitchen.

Early Career

In 1992, Chef Gotti decided to take his culinary skills abroad and moved to London, England. He worked in several restaurants in the city and quickly made a name for himself as a talented chef. His passion for cooking and dedication to his craft caught the attention of several prominent chefs, including Gordon Ramsay, who offered him a job at his Michelin-starred restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.

Chef Gotti worked at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for two years, during which time he honed his skills and learned new techniques. He also gained invaluable experience working in a high-pressure environment and learned how to manage a kitchen efficiently.

In 1994, Chef Gotti decided to move to New York City to pursue new opportunities. He worked in several restaurants in the city, including Le Bernardin and Per Se, two of the most prestigious restaurants in the world. During this time, he also competed in several culinary competitions and won numerous awards for his innovative and creative dishes.

Rise to Fame

Chef Gotti’s big break came in 2002 when he opened his own restaurant, Gotti’s, in the heart of Manhattan. The restaurant quickly became a sensation and was praised by critics and diners alike for its innovative cuisine and impeccable service. Gotti’s was awarded three Michelin stars in its first year of operation, a feat that had never been achieved by a new restaurant before.
