Over the years, she has built a reputation for being a fearless and outspoken advocate for democracy, human rights, and women’s empowerment.

Early Life and Education

Agnieszka Kręglicka was born on December 15, 1972, in Warsaw, Poland. Her parents were both medical doctors, and she grew up in a family that placed a high value on education and intellectual pursuits. From a young age, Agnieszka showed a keen interest in literature and the arts, and she was an avid reader of classic and contemporary works of fiction.

After completing her primary and secondary education, Agnieszka enrolled at the University of Warsaw, where she studied journalism and political science. During her time at the university, she was actively involved in student politics, and she was a leading member of several student organizations that were advocating for greater freedom of speech and civil liberties in communist Poland.

Early Career

Upon graduation, Agnieszka started her career as a journalist working for several small independent publications in Warsaw. However, it was not long before she attracted the attention of some of the leading media outlets in the country, and she was offered a job at one of Poland’s largest daily newspapers, Gazeta Wyborcza.

At Gazeta Wyborcza, Agnieszka quickly made a name for herself as an investigative journalist and political commentator. She was one of the first journalists to report on the emerging democratic movement in Poland in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and her articles helped to raise awareness of the growing demand for greater political freedom and civil rights.

In 1994, Agnieszka was appointed as the editor-in-chief of a new weekly magazine, Wprost, which was aimed at a more affluent and politically engaged readership. Under her leadership, the magazine quickly became one of the most influential publications in the country, known for its hard-hitting investigative journalism and fearless criticism of the government.

In addition to her work on “Onet Rano,” Agnieszka has also been a regular contributor to other TVN programs, including “Fakty” (News) and “Sensacje XX wieku” (Sensations of the 20th Century), a popular documentary series that explores some of the most significant events and personalities of the past century.
