Ingredients

  • 300 gms – Minced Meat
  • 1/2 tsp – National Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp – Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp – National  Red Chilli powder
  • 2 – Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 – Beaten eggs
  • 1 cup – Carrots, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup – Broccoli, finely chopped
  • National Salt to taste
  • For browning the bhallas:
  • 3 tsp – Mustard oil
  • 3-4 Broccoli florets, chopped finely

How to Make Carrot and Kheema Bhallas

  • To prepare the bhallas:
  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Divide into four portions and place in a steamer and steam till the eggs allow the bhallas to set.
  • To brown the bhallas:
  • Heat the oil and add the broccoli pieces and stir fry while you add the steamed bhallas to the same pan.
  • Turn the bhallas over once or twice so that all sides are lightly browned.
  • Serve garnished with stir fried broccoli.
