Don’t go into the long process of making Basundi, every time you crave for it. Here’s the Basundi Pre-mix for you so that you can, make it, store it and eat it anytime you want to.

BASUNDI

Ingredients

3 cups milk powder
6 tbsps corn flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1½ tsps green cardamom powder
3 tbsps chopped pistachios + for garnish
3 tbsps chopped almonds + for garnish
3 tbsps charoli
A large pinch of saffron + for garnish

Method

1. Mix together the milk powder, corn flour, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, saffron, pistachios, almonds, andcharoliand mix well. Store in an air tight container for upto 21 days.
2. To make the basundi, add 1 cup of the premix in a non-stick deep pan, add 2 cups water and boil till the mixture thickens. Whisking in between.
3. Garnish with almonds, pistachios, and saffron. Serve warm or cold.
