Boiled macaroni tempered with indian masalas. A quick and easy recipe to try out.
TADKA PASTA
Ingredients
1½ cups macaroni, boiled
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
½ teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
4-5 curry leaves
2 dried red chillies, broken
2 tablespoons _______ powder
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Fresh coriander sprig for garnishing
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and sauté till seeds splutter.
2. Add cumin seeds and sauté till seeds change colour. Add curry leaves and red chillies, mix and sauté well.
3. Add ________ powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Add macaroni and toss well.
4. Add salt and toss again. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
5. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
