A quick and simple recipe to make delicious thin crust pizza at home.

THIN CRUST PIZZA

Ingredients

75 grams of basic pizza base
¼ cup pizza sauce
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice
Basic pizza dough
1½ cups refined flour + for dusting
1 tablespoon oil + for greasing
20 grams fresh yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon sweet corn
2-3 button mushrooms, sliced
2-3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
3-4 chicken sausages

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180°C. Grease a baking tray with oil.
2. Take refined flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Add the fresh yeast in the center. Sprinkle sugar and add some warm water. Mix the yeast with the sugar and water. Rest for 5 minutes or till the yeast is activated.
3. Mix the flour with the activated yeast. Add salt and sufficient water and knead to a soft dough.
4. Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead again. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
5. Dust a work top with some dry flour. Roll out the dough into thin disc. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
6. Spread the tomato sauce, top with sweet corn, sliced mushrooms, fresh jalapenos, chicken sausages.
7. Grate mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes
8. Remove from the oven. Cut into slices and serve immediately.
