Ingredients

For the Naan Soldiers:

  • 4 pieces of naan bread
  • Olive oil, for brushing

For the Turmeric & Chilli Butter:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the naan bread with olive oil.
  3. Place the naan bread on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While the naan is baking, prepare the turmeric and chili butter.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin, and salt.
  6. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.
  7. Once the naan is cooked and cooled slightly, cut it into triangles or soldiers.
  8. Spread the turmeric and chili butter on the naan soldiers.
  9. Serve immediately.
