  • 100ml honey
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 50ml vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, honey, milk, egg, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
