NANKHATAI STICKS
Ingredients
1½ cups refined flour
½ cup gram flour
¾ cup powdered sugar
A pinch of baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp green cardamom powder
¼ cup mixed nuts, chopped
¾ cup melted ghee
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
2. Sift together refined flour, gram flour, powdered sugar, a pinch baking soda, baking powder, green cardamom powder in a bowl.
3. Add chopped mixed nuts and melted ghee. Mix well. Knead to stiff dough.
4. Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into medium sized cylinders and slightly flatten it.
5. Transfer on a baking tray.
6. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool down.
7. Serve or store in an airtight container.
