Delicious gooey cookies made with brownie batter.

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE COOKIES

Ingredients

¼ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 cup refined flour (maida)
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup castor sugar
2-3 tablespoons cornflour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 cup mixed chocolate chips

Method

1. Mix together butter and chocolate chips and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and mix till smooth.
2. Beat eggs with an electric beater till fluffy. Add vanilla essence and whisk. Add castor sugar and cream till light. Add melted chocolate and beat well.
3. Sift together refined flour, cornflour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture and fold till well incorporated.
4. Add walnuts and mixed chocolate chips and fold again. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 180˚ C. Line a baking tray with a parchment paper.
6. Divide the mixture into equal portions and place them on the lined tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
7. Serve with milk.
