Ingredients
Meat – 1 kg
4 – potatoes, cubed
To slice:
4 – medium chillies
1-inch piece – Ginger
5 flake – Garlic
3 – medium Onions
To grind:
10 – chillies
1 piece – Turmeric
2 tbsp – coriander
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
1 tsp – Mustard Seed
10 – pepper Corns
Other ingredients:
5 – Cloves
1 piece – Cinnamon
3 tbsp – Vinegar
National Salt to taste
How to Make Bafat Meat Masala
Cut and wash meat.
Grind the ingredients listed into a paste.
Prepare the sliced masala.
Mix meat, ground masala, cloves, cinnamon, salt and vinegar with 3 cups of water.
Cook for one hour till the meat is tender.
Add potatoes, with ghee, and the sliced masala and continue cooking till the potatoes are cooked.
