There are several deadly foods in the world. We are aware of some of those foods while there are few which we haven’t thought of as deadly. Here is the list of 10 foods that can probably kill you.

1. Raw Honey

If you are planning to invade a honey bee’s nest and have all the honey for yourself, you have to think again. Since the honey inside nest doesn’t go through the pasteurization process the harmful toxins remain part of that honey. This can lead to dizziness, weakness, excessive sweating, nausea, and vomiting that last for 24 hours. Consuming excessive amount of such honey can cause severe problems.

2. Fruit Seeds

Cherry pits contain a type of hydrogen cyanide called prussic acid. Don’t go eating a cup of ground pits, or peach and apricot pits for that matter.

3. Potatoes

Yes Potatoes! Glycoalkaloids, are present in the leaves, stems, and sprouts of potatoes. They can also grow inside the potato if left for too long. Glycoalkaloids when eaten can lead to cramping, diarrhea, confused headaches, or even coma and death. Avoid potatoes with a greenish tinge.

4. Almonds

There are two types of almonds, sweet and bitter. The bitter ones supposedly contain relatively large amounts of hydrogen cyanide. It’s said that even eating just 7 – 10 raw bitter almonds can cause problems for adults, and could be fatal for children. So if you are accidentally eating 7 bitter almonds every morning to sharpen your memory, you need to stop.

5. Tomatoes

The stems and leaves of tomatoes contain alkali poisons that can cause stomach agitation. The green tomatoes have same effect. You would need to consume vast quantities for it to be fatal.
