A delicious recipe made with the goodness of soya chunks.

SOYA CHUNKS FRY

Ingredients

2 cups soya chunks, soaked
Salt to taste
5-6 chopped curry leaves
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsps ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
4 tbsps corn starch + coating
1 tbsp chopped coriander
Oil for deep frying
Tomato ketchup for serving

Method

1. Grind the soaked soya chunks into a coarse paste.
2. In a bowl, add the prepared soya paste, salt, curry leaves, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, corn starch, coriander. Mix well.
3. Divide into equal portions and make small roundels.
4. Heat oil in a pan; coat the prepared roundels with corn starch and deep fry till crispy and golden brown.
5. Serve hot with ketchup.
