Peshawari Pista Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg milk
  • 1/2 kg Olpers cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 50 gm pistachios sliced
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp gelatin powder
  • 1 tsp kewra
  • Few drops pistachio essence

Cooking Method

  1. Boil milk in a saucepan.
  2. Now add sugar and cook for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Dissolve cornflour in little water.
  4. Gradually add corn flour paste into the pan.
  5. Keep stirring.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  7. Turn the heat off and let it cool completely.
  8. Then add prepared custard cream, vanilla essence, kewra and pistachio in milk mixture.
  9. Transfer into a air tight container.
  10. Freeze it for 24 hours.
  11. Peshawari Pista Ice Cream is ready to serve.
